I began my career in accounting over 30 years ago, working my way up to manager for Deloitte-Touche, now known as Touche Ross. After cutting my teeth auditing the likes of Bernie Medoff, I realized my real passion was helping not-for-profits. Over the years I have worked with not-for-profits of all sizes and shapes. From local homeless programs to international communication providers, schools, churches and more. Working with such diverse groups I have learned that, while the needs of each individual program may differ, one thing remains the same; they all need professional, knowledgeable financial leadership. Unlike a retail business that operates with funds earned through their sales, not-for-profits face private and governmental requirements that the average CFO may have never faced. Such inexperience can mean lost time and income, and as you may well know, the smaller you are, the more important it is to make the most of every dollar. That is where Frostline Consulting comes in.
In a perfect world, every not-for-profit could afford a full time CFO with the necessary experience to help them flourish. At Frostline, we offer the next best thing; a fractal CFO, there to help when you need. Imagine having decades of real-world experience and expertise at a fraction of the cost of a full time CFO. Someone to advise your accounting staff in handling the everyday tasks, then step in when the heavy lifting is needed. Someone to help you avoid costly and unnecessary mistakes.
